Why Attend Tech Talks?

A facilitated discussion for parents and their kids (grades 3–5) helps you set a strong foundation for healthy technology habits before screens and social media take center stage.

Set Tech Boundaries Early – The best time to establish expectations is before your child is asking for a phone or social media.

Stay Ahead of the Curve – Research from Jonathan Haidt and others shows that early boundaries help protect mental health and family relationships.

Learn Positive Discipline Strategies – We’ll model respectful, effective communication techniques to build trust and keep the conversation open as your child grows.

Walk Away with a Plan – You’ll leave with a sample family tech contract to use at home, helping you confidently set and enforce your family’s screen-time rules.

Build Confidence for Future Conversations – The skills you gain will make future discussions about technology, social media, and screen time easier and more effective.

Join us to create a healthy, balanced approach to technology for your family!
